Shawn earned her psychology degree with a minor in biology at UW-Whitewater, where she focused her studies on behavioral research. Shawn's research has been published in the peer-reviewed journals: Applied Animal Behaviour Science, International Journal of Law and Psychiatry, Criminal Justice and Behavior and Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma.
